Books by Kevin D. That every story reads like a bad and I mean bad noir film isn’t just annoying; it makes them much less credible. He has appeared on 60 Minutes and elsewhere in the media, and his exploits have spawned several bestselling books, including The Fugitive Game. The book isn’t about Mitnick, though; it’s about social engineering.


I did read his other book Ghost in the Wires and it was fantastic – in fact that’s the reason I decided to buy this book. All in all, an interesting book. Atr the best book I’ve ever read on Social Engineering – in agt current world, some of the exploits that the author describes could feel fairly outdated and basic – things such as tailgating, or even dumpster diving – but security starts at the very roots.
