Must be missing something – I thought this book was rubbish couldn’t wait to finish it! In this diversity, there is certainly a space where women have an enormous amount of power. I don’t think Reage understands the difference between love and obsession. Two adaptations of erotic characters into comic strip form. I read the various introductions and prefaces in the edition I had which actually spoiled quite a bit of the book, but I am actually glad of that because it allowed me to prepare myself better for some of the more outrageous activities that were detailed. The virtuous Justine, we are told through Guido’s illustrations, constantly faces adversity and could not escape a life of misfortunes, while the corrupted Juliette enjoys a life of luxury.
